In the first two years since the foundation has come into operations 10 missions were undertaken. In the first period of 2005/2006 some 2900 children were checked at the costs of € 4 per child. More than 3800 children have received a medical checkup and have been treated in the second year (2007) at the costs of € 5 per child. Although MCC has a cash surplus this is largely due to the voluntary efforts of the 75 doctors and support staff who have donated their time and travel costs as well as their local accommodation costs free to MCC. |
