ArkeFly is the own airline of TUI Nederland, that operates with the brand names Holland International, Arke and KRAS. With 1,3 million customers and a turnover of 1,2 billion, TUI Nederland is the absolute market leader in the Netherlands and the only travel organisation in the country with its own airline.
Internationally, TUI is the biggest travel organisation in Europe. Over 200 travel organisations in sixteen countries work together under the umbrella of World of TUI. In six countries TUI has its own airline with a total fleet of more than 155 planes.
ArkeFly operates in the Netherlands with a fleet featuring two types of aircraft: the Boeing 767-300 and the Boeing 737-800. In the coming few years, the 767-300 will be replaced by the hypermodern 787 Dreamliner.
ArkeFly offers a unique three-class concept in all Boeing 767-300 flights: Economy Class (76 cm leg room), Comfort Class, developed by ArkeFly (with 84 cm leg room) and Star Class (with 98 cm leg room). Boeing 737-800 flights feature two classes: Economy and Comfort Class. Depending on the seating class and destination, passengers are allowed between 20 and 45 kilos of baggage in the hold. ArkeFly covers destinations around the Mediterranean as well as further afar, such as the Caribbean.
The newest ArkeFly destination is Nepal, from October 11 onwards ArkeFly will fly directly to this destination every Sunday, with on the way a short tank stop. Total flight time will be 11 hours.

C.H.A.N.C.E for Nepal (Children’s Health and Nutrition Care and Education) is a registered charity founded in2006 with the explicit aim of helping children in Nepal who are sick, orphaned, handicapped, or underprivileged.
Our mission is to improve children’s health, education and wellbeing by promoting and sponsoring high quality medical care in hospitals, orphanages and schools. We accomplish this through our unique collaboration between medical professionals and organisations committed to improving children’s health. Our medical support in Nepal mainly focuses on primary health care. We believe that prevention should be concurrent with acute care. The medical checks in the orphanages and schools are targeted at identification, detection and treatment.
C.H.A.N.C.E for Nepal works closely with two outstanding organisations: Medical Checks for Children, a Dutch based charity which regularly sends teams of highly trained and motivated volunteers to Nepal, and Shenpen, a Nepalese charity dedicated to the alleviation of poverty.
In addition, C.H.A.N.C.E sponsors educational programmes at three schools in Kathmandu. Many children who have been abandoned or their family circumstances are such that they are safer in a boarding environment have benefited from this sponsorship. We are therefore constantly looking for sponsors to give a child the chance of a full time education, which in Nepal is a privilege!

Rangjung Yeshe Shenpen is a volunteer-based, non-profit organisation established to alleviate poverty and address social challenges principally in Nepal. Founded in 2004 by Chök yi Nyima Rinpoche and working under his direction, Shenpen focuses on helping the poor and disadvantaged gain access to healthcare facilities, education, shelter and employment opportunities and to improve the care and treatment of animals.
